Basic Prayer Training for Kids

Our Kids Prayer Boot Camp curriculum is a 12 lesson series designed to train children in the fundamentals of prayer. It has been designed with a military style format that includes training in the following areas:

CORE FUNDAMENTALS

• Enlisting—Basics and Commitment
• Our Commander-In-Chief—Our leader and worship
• The Mission—The mission of God
• Physical & Spiritual Readiness—Praying for the sick and your personal prayer life

WEAPONRY & DEFENSE

• Field Training:—Holy Spirit
• Defense Fundamentals—The Armor of God
• Offense Fundamentals:—The Word of God and scripture praying
• Counterattack Maneuvers—Fasting

ADVANCED COMBAT & SKILLS

• Communications—Listening in prayer
• Special Ops—Travailing Prayer & Prayer Meetings
• Military Tactics—Enemies tactics and spiritual warfare
• POWs / Rescue Missions—Christian prisoners and backsliders

There is a full-color teacher's training manual, a student field manual and associated resources. The curriculum can be taught as a 12-week curriculum, or taught as a VBS or single weekend prayer summit. There are prayer activities for each lesson and take-home assignments that the children (soldiers) can do with their parents.
